Bought the Clubsport without seeing it in person — they sent me a twenty-minute video walking round it in daylight, including the two stone chips on the bonnet, before I paid a penny. Delivered on a Thursday, spotless. The honesty about the chips is why I bought it.

First car I have bought on my own since my husband died and I was dreading it. Callum let me sit in it for twenty minutes without saying anything, then took me out on the A19 so I could see how it pulled away. No pressure at any point.

Car is superb and the preparation is genuinely a cut above — it came with the inspection sheet and the old pads in the boot to prove they had been changed. Only gripe is that the handover took longer than I had planned for on a Saturday, so leave yourself an hour.

My part exchange was a fifteen-year-old Fiesta with a sill that had seen better days. They valued it properly instead of the insulting number the big dealer down the road gave me, and settled the outstanding finance on the MINI the same afternoon.

Asked them to find a manual Cayman in a colour that was not silver. Took nine weeks and they turned down three cars on my behalf before they found this one in Cheshire. Worth every penny of the sourcing fee not to have done that myself.
