If the car you want is not on the forecourt, we will go and find it. Most of our sourcing work is for customers who know exactly what they want and do not have the time — or the appetite — to sit through twelve months of classifieds.

The search

How a search
actually runs

Most searches take between three and ten weeks. The ones that take longest are usually the ones worth waiting for.

  1. 01

    Brief

    We sit down with you — here, or on the phone — and agree specification, mileage ceiling, colour, budget and any deal-breakers. Getting the brief tight is most of the work.

  2. 02

    Search

    We work the trade, the auctions and our own network of independents across the North East and beyond. You get a shortlist with honest notes, not a list of links.

  3. 03

    Inspection

    We physically inspect and drive anything that makes the shortlist before you commit. If it is four hours away, we go and look at it.

  4. 04

    Preparation

    The car comes back here and goes through exactly the same 140-point preparation as our own stock, then it is yours.

Sourcing is charged as a flat fee agreed before we start, based on the budget of the car — typically between £600 and £1,500. Nothing is payable until you have accepted a car we have found.
