Our view
The D300 is the Defender engine worth having — the 3.0 straight-six diesel with the mild-hybrid system, which pulls properly from very little and returns figures the four-cylinder never quite manages. This one is an X-Dynamic HSE with the third row, air suspension and the Meridian system.
Two owners, both local, and the sort of history you want on a car that weighs this much: no missed services, no gaps, and an underside that has plainly not spent its life on a farm track. We have replaced the front discs and pads and both lower control-arm bushes, which is the usual attention point at this mileage.
